DIY miniature wedding dress

Used white fabric and white thread to tighten the waist. 

Seriously, it looks beautiful but the back of the dress is a different story. My very first time making a miniature wedding dress, I need this practice. Ha ha ha.

DIY Wooden Dollhouse Miniature

I ordered this DIY wooden doll house miniature from an app call CUTE. Purchased this around $20 and when I received it, I was really really surprise of how much I have to put myself to work in order to make this piece. This is my very first time making my very own miniatures. I am very excited and it's super fun! I had already started, but I did the easiest piece first. 

New shirt, New boots

Today, I woke up almost every hour. It has been happening for two days or so. She's been fussy while waking up in the middle of the night. I'm not quite sure what's wrong with her but assuming that she's teething and it's bugging her a lot or having little nightmares. The only way for her to fall back to sleep is to sleep right next to me and cuddle then wake up again, repeat. It's really cute, but I'm also worry about her. Hope it ends soon so that she can get some sleep through the night, and me as well. 

Yesterday, I got a pair of suede boots for her at Gap. Today, she looks so stylist with these little cute boots. She doesn't walk yet but when I do take her out, I want to keep her little toes warm. Also, she's wearing her new shirt from We Are Minors shop with a little cute black headband to go with. 

Bambi, A Little Golden Book

She plays, sleep, eat, and play some more but there is always time for story time. Today's book is Bambi, good classic Little Golden Book. She may not know what the book is about as I read to her but she loves it that I am sitting right next to her, reading out loud. She also tries really hard to turn the pages for me but ends up crumbling it. Hey, at least she's trying. ha ha.

I had ordered a few books on Amazon of Little Golden Book for my daughter and also, bought some at Cost Plus World Market. It brings back childhood memories and classic stories. The story Bambi had some dark moments but the friends that Bambi made with was just too cute.

West Lake Park

Today, we decided to take Emma out to the park. We literally drove around town trying to find a park for Emma to play. We drove pass two parks and both parks were filled with children playing and there wasn't any parking unless you drove a little further down, but I wasn't planning on walking a long distance. So, I finally thought about West Lake Park which was located in a quiet neighborhood up the hill. Perfect, barely anyone was there, a lot of parking space, beautiful green grass, a small lake filled with duckies and of course, the playground! Sadly, I didn't take any pictures of the lake but that's alright, I got a few shots of Emma and spending time with her at the park was so much fun!

Just hours before trick-or-treating yesterday, I was snapping a few photos of baby Emma in her cute #weareminors tee. Of course, she’s young and wild so there is no way a 7 month old girl would be listening to me, all she wants to do is play, play and play. She is too adorable, I ended up loving all her pictures. All smiles on my face.

Her First Halloween

Emma’s very first Halloween, she doesn't get why people are dressed up on this particular day but she had fun! First, we actually wanted her to be a panda this year but turned out that the panda costume that I had ordered a month ago, did not fit her! It was too big for her and I kept saying to myself that I wanted to save it for her when she gets bigger but I decided to give it to her cousin since he didn’t have any costume to wear on that day. No worries, I was able to make it to Spirit Halloween in time to get her her very first pumpkin costume!

On Halloween day, we took her and her cousin downtown for trick-or-treating. I would say about over 300 people were there with their families. Most of the shops downtown were giving out candies, there were even policemen and fire fighters passing out candies and stickers for the little ones. Next year, we will definitely go back to downtown Santa Cruz for Halloween but arrive early because most of the shops had ran out of candies within 30 mins. SO MANY CHILDREN in cute costumes! Oh and by the way, all the candies she got goes to MAMA and PAPA :)

Hello World

Hello World, I am happy to be using blogger.com since the last site I was recently using was having problems loading and signing in. I figure blogger.com is just way better to use for blogging. Anywho, I am a stay at home mom and like most mommies out there, I love dressing up my daughter. Baby Emma means the world to me and being a first time mommy, I have learned a lot and most importantly, having a lot of patience. When she laugh, she’s beautiful. When she smile, she’s beautiful. When she cries, she’s beautiful. Everything about her is beautiful and I am truly bless to be her mother. I am happy to be sharing stories of our daily life on our fashion, travels, hobbies, food, etc to the world.
